Hello. Working on my own VTOL project I got some experience with a multi-rotor flight control software, specifically MultiWii, editing it to my own purposes. Well, I never looked inside ArduPilot software but I understand well all values and relations involved in such type of software, like processing signals from IMU, etc. C++ is a language used in Arduino IDE, where I develop all my projects, so C++ is my workhorse. And, the main thing: your project coincides directly with my personal interests in life, so I would be motivated very much to do my best. For some years I worked on my own project of a personal VTOL, the goal was to develop something transportable in a car trunk, not very expensive, and with my own approach to safety. In case of electronic failure the whole structure has to act like a parachute, without any emergency automatics, this seems most reliable for me. About me (standard part): I'm an electronic engineer with about 25 years of experience, also about 7 years of experience in 3D modelling using SolidWorks. Experience with Arduino and ESP32 controllers. Good technical background. Experience in 3D printing, manufacturing drawings. Prototyping is possible, both electronics and mechanics.
