Researchers/Technical Writers Needed

Ideal person is an Aussie plasterer or builder who knows this stuff off the top of their head and can write it down for me. I am dreaming, I know. In reality I need a gun researcher who does not take no for an answer when on the trail of the information. You need to search out specific information and write it in an acceptable format into the Learner Guide document I give you. All Learner Guides already contain the criteria you need to address. You must be a native English speaker. You must be able to take direction. It helps if you understand the construction industry and the requirements of the Australian registered training industry. Your Mission Your mission if you choose to accept is to populate the learner guide I give you with information to address the criteria in each section. There are sections of each Learner Guide that are common to each so you will not need worry about these and they are marked up accordingly. Information has to meet Australian construction, building and work health and safety standards. These are skeleton learner guides for trainers to develop their coursework from. There is a total of 14 in this phase of the project. You need to search the internet high and low. Manufacturer websites articles, YouTube, anywhere you can find it. When you find the information, rewrite it into the document in acceptable format (so I can understand it if it needs rewriting in the editing process) and add a link to the source material. The only links I want see is to where you got the information or graphics from, and these are a must. I have uploaded a mapping document as an example to the type of information you will need to find and address. The Performance Criteria in the mapping document is the information you need to find. The Required Skills and Knowledge is what learners need to get out of it. And, the Critical Evidence are the skills the learner needs to display on completion of the learning module. Your Reward These are fixed price projects ranging from AUD$150 to $300 – depending on the level of work. There is no point asking me what word count I need as it is like asking me how long is a piece of string. The criteria will dictate the word length in each section. Some areas may only be 200 words and a procedure and others 2000 words. In other words, it takes what it takes … if you are fixated on word counts this is not a job for you. I work using the freelancer milestone system. For this project, I will create three milestones for each freelancer I hire: milestone 1 – fast draft 30% complete – I want to see you are on the right track and give direction if you need it. milestone 2 – draft – 90% complete milestone 3 – final copy. If you exceed my expectations and make my life easy I will reward with a bonus. Deadline Deadline is 5 days – Please do not bid if you cannot do it in this time. You missing a deadline puts my deadline in jeopardy. I am deadline focused and I have never missed one in 20 years. In this project, I cannot give deadline extensions. Future Prospects This is phase 1 of a bigger project. I have already quoted on the next phase. If I can pull a super, gun team together and pull off this delivery there could be more work in the future. I will start hiring in 8 hours’ time – and I will hire at least 4 freelancers today. When I talk to you I will provide you links and further information as well as samples of work already done, along with a work pack to look at.
