Is it a standalone system with its own screen and input buttons or does to have to send data to the computer? Also I want to clarify one thing. Is it compulsory to do the project in Raspberry Pi? I would prefer Arduino for this project as it is cheap and also interfacing with low level device is much simpler in Arduino.
