I have an Astro Jet II high volume ink jet printer. I used the generic text driver from Windows 98 that is on the computer that drives that printer. When I upgraded to Windows 2000 Pro, the generic text driver no longer operated the printer. I had a service tech tell me that the 98' version was dos based and that I shouldn't have a problem with 2000 as it was also dos based. I need a generic text driver written, if possible, that will work with my printer. Help.
