Why you went for an overkill and costly board ( Pi) while small sized but powerful board ESP32 can do the same ? ESP32 is very cost effective but yet it's got 2 cores on it , each running at 160MHz, with lot of pins to connect to your relays and sensors ( if any) i can help you reprogram your project with ESP32, and yes you will have the interface as well to it , like HMI over WiFi or BLE ? Hello, This project should be easily completed in a day by the sounds of it. I have been using raspberry pis since they came out, and have been programming micro controllers over the past 5 years mainly using C and C++. With Raspberry Pis, I have typically used Python for data manipulation, and C++ for any graphical presentation (although I have created a couple GUIs in Python, and it was awful to read due to the nature of python, but it worked).
