Hi there! Currently I would like to create an excel spreadsheet (open to other web based or software), but much prefer excel since it's easier to work with in terms of customizability. Currently we are trying to keep track and manage the paper documents throughout the whole process a lot better with a few user friendly metrics that should not be a problem to add inside excel. The process itself is very unique to this company and it delves deeper into more practical day to day operations. Hence we are looking for someone competent who is also willing to learn this process to be able to deliver the most optimized and best excel spreadsheet possible. We already use existing excel spreadsheets to help manage the paperwork so upon accepting this project, we will also provide and share excel spreadsheets for you to understand (very basic excel spreadsheet calculations, that we wish for it to be improved). Currently the process is as follows: 0) Overview worksheet In this overview tab, we would like to be able to see the numbers of invoices that have not been paid yet but will need to be paid including the total amount needed to be paid of said invoices. Vice versa, we would also like to see the invoices that have been paid but have not yet arrived (eg still processing production or on its way via ship etc). Eg 15 Invoices totaling $50,000 will need to be paid (including goods that have already arrived) Or 5 Invoices totaling $10,000 that has been paid but yet to be arrived. All graph metrics to be made in a month view but can span for 12 months Previous history. Supplier graph metrics, eg- which suppliers do we pay / order with the most this month. Total SAD entries made in a month. 0) Settings Tab - To store suppliers name : also to show whether the supplier prefer prepaid or non-prepaid (account/credit) payments. - List of Currency and their respected rate for Central bank Approval (Payment which will be discussed) - List all Shipping agents and also which designed vessel is linked with which Ship (excluding voyage number). - The amount to consider central bank approval - a simple amount to include to meet the =whatif requirement. 1) ordering from suppliers (orders are placed to supplier, sometime with no price, sometimes with price) 2) Orders raised into invoices (invoices are sent by the supplier to confirm our order with price. We need to make sure this may be same to the order or the can be voided if price was never mentioned in order. shipping and other details will need to include 2a) Invoices to be paid (at this stage invoices are left with two options, to be paid. remember Central bank will require an extra process if its over a certain amount). 2b) Invoices that are landed - Declaration SAD document (Goods that have arrived, not all goods are prepaid so at this stage there are goods that haven't been paid yet but can proceed to the next step) - this is where we need to find out an idea to make this smooth transition in excel. 3) Container Management (once the goods have been landed the container they arrive in will need to be monitored and returned to the ports in timely manner otherwise fees will occur). At this stage not all goods that have landed are paid. More details on the process will be discussed as the operations is hard to explain via text. Nonetheless, the difficulty in this project again lies in understanding the context rather than the actual developing / coding of the worksheet itself. Thank You.

Hi, Ideally, I believe you need a Google Sheets where it can be transferable seamlessly. I will create the tab that defines your operations as per the instructions you provided. I will make them customisable as well. I will also create the dashboard as recommended to track your operations. This can be done in excel and Google Sheets.
