Refine logo concept, should be easy!

***IMPORTANT*** Copy/paste will kindly be ignored, please mention a few of your thoughts on my concept or else I will not consider hiring you. I'm a commerical/stock photographer, my clients are small business owners and ad agencys. I'm fairly happy with my logo concept, although I welcome somebody to add their creativity to the concept. I want something simple, something that incorporates my initals into a logo. I would like to add just a hint of tasteful "Web 2.0/Apple" look, but not too much of the glossy bubble look. All neutral shades are welcome, and close varients to FF6000 orange (maybe a more burnt orange). Perhaps my full name: Nick Simcheck could be placed below or to the right of the logo in a san-serif or simple serif font. I like the elements of NS_Logo_1, but the "S" appears to be a backwards "Z" so I like the shape of the "S" on NS_Logo_2. I will need a few different versions, like a frosted/silver/white & orange for placement on a black background, also one completely frosted for watermark use. As you can tell, I am not illustrator savvy! I need vector files in order to use the logo for web, watermarking and stationary. I treat your time seriously, and hope to receive the same in return.
