I am looking for a talented freelancer who will help create an infrastructure for CMS / Blog websites. Our platform of choice is Python, Apache and PostgresSQL running on Debian Linux. We are savvy in all these techonolgies so we will closely work with you to detail requirements. Project Scope --------------------------- - Evaluation of a platform - Plone, Django-CMS, Mezzanine etc - we are open to your suggestions - Initial setup of a template that can be easily deployed to build multiple websites - Setup of 2 different websites - 1 blog and 1 corporate CMS site including corporate blog - Anything else that comes up This can be an ongoing relationship with the right professional. Please submit your experience with designing and deploying Python based CMS - Programming - Infrastructure deployment (Apache, Postgresql etc) - Design - Security(nice to have)

Hi, I can start working in your project immediately. I have a server for POC purpose. I offer you to install all frameworks for your evaluation. I suggest you to install Plone for a professional website. I have enough experience using plone. It's so easy to customize it, with templates and lots of moudules to extend functionality and have more features. It's not common to use plone or any CMS based in python, but do you know anything about Ruby or Go? But's there is and idea of a CMS behind all them. Experience in using PostgreSQL, apache and Python. Please drop me a line if you are interested in my services.

Hi, I've personally been evaluating CMS like plone, mazzenine etc. I am myself a primarily python developer but found plone to be best choice after looking at its successful implementation in a Huge organization(7000+ employees) as their platform for internal social activities. I have good experience with Django development and CMS (django-cms) or other if you choose. - Infrastructure deployment (Apache, Postgresql etc) I can help you deploy on any linux or windows platform. I also have good working experience with Postgresql with a 100M records. - Design Please contact me to show you some of my open source projects that I can show. - Security(nice to have) Securing database for local access only. File ssytem level security on the server to ensure a last line of defense security. Setup backup and restore on the server to bring back a server after a hardware failure or data loss. Setup a trusted SSL certificate on the server. Setup different Apache Virtual Servers for different parts of the website to set separate access permissions for people accessing server locally or remotely or even block administration from being accessed remotely.
