[login to view URL] a word .doc with all the information and pics layed out and I copy and paste into InDesign (page layout program). 2. Befour I bring the pics into the template I convert them into cmyk and change them to 300 dpi. If the pics are really bad I work with the contrast and brightness. 3. When I bring the information into InDesign I have paragraph and character styles set up so it's easier to format. 4. The crop marks are already on the photoshop .doc so you just export to PDF at 300 dpi, and thats pretty much it. It is prefered that you have Photoshop to do all this work. This is a advertising mock up. we will provide content for 10 'cover' mock ups. My office was doing 5-6 per hour

As former employee of Quark, I have helped to fix page layouts, image issues using QuarkXPress, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for the graphic designers/layout designers of Time, OfficeMax, RR Donnelly etc. When I had quit the job at Quark, my system had more than 7000 pictures edited, resaved and calibrated by me.
