I have an existing band style tattoo on my arm that I am going to get covered (Photo supplied). I would like a tattoo designed around this using the details below. My ideas and inspirations for a tattoo are detailed below, with pictures included as a guide. Ideas for the tattoo design: As mentioned the existing tattoo will be covered by a solid black band. In the design I don't mind getting other lines above or below to break up the solid black line cover up. (See photo 1, 2 & 3) Main element of the design will include a portrait of my mum & dad (See photo 6), this should be approximately 2 to 3 inches square. I love triangles, geometric, symmetrical designs with solid and dotted lines. I would like my parents portrait framed in a triangle (See photo 7,8,9,10 & 13). I would like to include a simple solid cross and a paint brush (See photo 11 & 12), both can be quite delicate nothing "in your face". (Reference paint brush 6 positions from left in picture attached) I would be open to elements of colour (green/red) but black is fine. The tattoo can go down as far as my elbow and up to my shoulder, I am up for anything. I'm not exactly sure what I want, hence the reason for your design input. I would like a contemporary design, and as mentioned, I love triangles, geometric and symmetrical designs, with delicate lines. All to frame the portrait of my parents. I also am huge a fan of some geometrical/symmetrical shaped tattoos. I believe I can provided you with a unique one-off artwork but in my own particular style. Note: I was only able to see example of ‘tattoo no.11’. Proposal and understandings based on text provided and that example only.
