A Great Opportunity for an Internet marketing project! We are seeking a super multi-tasked Graphic Designer, with excellent graphic, image manipulation, and interactive multimedia skills, to build, manage and maintain a dynamic e-commerce website for an established retail company. This position is responsible for the production of all web marketing materials to help present our products to the internet community; this could include: web site design and maintenance, search engine optimization, customer response, set up telemarketing and email marketing campaigns and on multiple websites; marketplaces marketing and product posting content writing. This effort will be used to present our product messages to customers, suppliers and internal staff. Many of the tasks will enable you to elevate to higher level in your career. We will provide most of the training on the tasks EXCEPT you must already have experience in Web site Graphic Design and image manipulation. We are multiple web sites to develop/maintain/market. One example is www.conocopianolamps. and [login to view URL] Position Details: • Responsible for the development, deployment, web page design and editing of a new e-commerce website. Photoshop knowledge and experience is a must. Ecommerce experience is a plus but not required. • CoWork in content writing, blog writing, layout, and production of promotional and marketing materials for mostly online, but a little on print. • Work with our management team on projects; participate in web-based sales and marketing campaigns, and participate in marketing project implementation • Research, conduct marketing surveys, and collect industry information and marketing data • Manage company web sites, trouble shoot and develop new e-commerce and e-marketing strategies Learn and implement SEO strategies. YOU WILL DO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS BUT THE MAIN DUTY IS WEB DESIGN AND MARKETING. Desired Requirements for the Ideal Candidate: • ANY education in Graphic Design, Marketing or Fine Art (with emphasis in Graphics) OR self-educated. Proven track record with relative experience is more important than education. But Associate or BA degree is a plus. • Real Experience in graphic design; advanced / proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, inDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, premier) • Some Experience with databases such as mySQL • Some experience with Macromedia Flash. • Must be skilled with e-commerce web page design and development • Must have knowledge of e-marketing strategies Must be able to write content for blogs, etc. • Some Knowledge and experience of WordPress, SEO, Flash, Java, and jQuery • Knowledge of multimedia production tools and methodology & ability to pick up new software and hardware quickly • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Portfolio required for review and consideration (submittal) • Time management skills; yet the ability to remain flexible with changing priorities. • Familiarity with various social networking tools.
