Hi There! Greetings. At a coarse level what I have understood about the requirements is to develop a desktop based independent application that should be edployable both on Mac and Windows. The application is mainly about sharing information real-time between client and server. A feature to communicate with external accounts like facebook, instagram by accessing their respective APIs. I have been working in accessing these APIs in variois applications and have involved in other modules too where TCP/IP, UDP sockets have been used for communication purposes in building multithreaded server and clients in Java. I believe Java should be the ideal match as it will enable the application to run on any platform like Mac or Windows. I'm very keen in involving myself in this application.
