Hi, I believe you want to implement PI 2 based full screen console and having trouble while playing video using HTML5 controls. As far as I know browsers are not optimized to take advantage of native GPU to play smoothly the videos. I have ready to use image for both PI1 and PI2 and have implemented many projects using HTML5 UI. I will try to see how full screen video is performing with that image and will get back to you. Based on discussion with you and your developer via Skype, I propose to provide a solution which meets the following requirements: - Raspberry Pi 2 B+ Hardware - Boots directly to Web Browser in fullscreen mode - On Boot will open an HTML URL specified, which will utilize Javascript/jQuery/HTML5 - This page will playback 1080P Video - The page will transition to new videos at a predetermined interval - The playback and transition of the videos will be smooth, and perform well without delays - The solution will support caching the content (html and media) - Using the cache, playback can happen in the event of loss of internet connectivity - The solution will allow execution of custom Python GPIO script for sensor input/screen control I propose to deliver this project via a series of stages: - Initial project acceptance - Initial testing/verification of the problem in my lab - Design/Architecture of optimized solution - Testing of optimized solution - Any additional troubleshooting/tuning - Packaging of final solution for delivery - Delivery of Documentation to re-create my results - Delivery of OS SD Card Image which re-creates my results I've identified a series of milestones below, which align with these stages. This includes initial project acceptance, and key deliverables mentioned above. I am sensitive to your time requirements, and will work to complete these tasks as fast as possible.
