I have an Equilateral triangle (the length of each side is 1) and inside this triangle additional side is α (the distance between the base of Equilateral triangle and α is ε ) . I want to find the length of (α) by proving this formula | α | ≥ ½ + √(¼ -√3 ε +ε²), where ε is (epsilon( ε ) <0.13)

Hi, Greetings from new freelancer. One thing I didn't understand about this problem is, why do you need to use inequality when you can get exact answer by using simple trignometry. According to my calculations, Relation between alpha and epsilon is alpha = 1 - (2*epsilon)/(sqrt(3)). Thank you.

I have more accurate results for your problem soled the problem for 2 cases 1. epsilon( ε ) is length of slant 2. epsilon( ε ) is distance between base line & line length α I have not used your equation | α | ≥ ½ + √(¼ -√3 ε +ε²), where ε is (epsilon( ε ) <0.13)
