Install GeoServer with MySQL. Import OpenStreetMap data and get the server fully functional to take API requests from our application running on another server. You may need to convert the OSM data for this server.
We will provide access to a Linux machine in the cloud, install the OS that you need (prefer CentOS or Ubuntu) and expect you to install GeoServer with TomCat. OSM data is to be imported to the installed platform, security and other settings completed, with Java APIs enabled to allow the server to serve maps on demand.
The server and OSM data will need to be optimised for speed to serve tiles, CSS selections and layers are part of the scope. All features of the map server must be fully functional. The server will be used for asset tracking.
To complete the project, you will need to provide detailed instructions on how to re-install the server and databases, if needed in the future.
