Who we are: A young and growing web design firm. We specialize in custom Drupal CMS development and work with clients and agencies such as Arnold Worldwide & Harvard Medical School. We work hard, and have high standards but we’re also fun, flexible, full of energy and ideas. What we need: Drupal website development for new projects, including custom modules. Maintenance for existing websites, assistance with front-end development and projects as needed. You are: Reliable, creative, architecture-minded, and track low on the ego-meter. Your value lies not only in providing exceptional coding and technical solutions, but also in day to day interactions, problem solving, project brainstorming, product development with the rest of our team. Requirements: 5+ years of programming experience 2+ years of experience with Drupal (Drupal 5+, 6, and/or 7), 3-5 production sites minimum Experience developing custom Drupal modules Expert-level Drupal front-end theming experience (XHTML, CSS) JavaScript (jQuery, Prototype, etc) and AJAX experience Experience addressing priority cross-browser rendering issues Routine use of SVN, GIT, or other source control system Routine use of command line interface / SSH for handing server, permissions, and file operations Familiarity with interpreting and creating technical specification documents Strong in-line coding commenting practices Extensive experience working with third party API’s, Web Services (e.g. REST, SOAP) and Drupal-API data integration Some experience with e-commerce, payment gateway and SSL configuration, transactional systems A desire to work closely with other developers in a collaborative mode. Ability to organize your work and time to meet deadlines and priorities(!) Attention to detail. Nice to haves: Degree (or certification) in related field (e.g. CS or IT) Involved with / code contributor to the Drupal core, or contributed modules, participation with the broader Drupal development community Experience working with HTML5, CSS3 Experience with mobile device support, “responsive design”, CSS3 media queries Apache server management / sysadmin experience WordPress and other CMS experience Experience developing email newsletters (and associated cross-platform troubleshooting and support) Use of Basecamp or similar collaborative project management software system Interested?
