159947 PHP str_replace utf8 space

I have attached a file which basically echo's a string. The problem is that this string contains a UTF8 space character (actually multiple) which I want to remove from the string. It is not just a str_replace(" ","",$string); Its some UTF8 space char which I need to get rid of. I cannot use a preg_replace('/[^a-zA-Z0-9... because some strings will contain latin characters and preg_replace doesnt really work well with them. I would like to see a working demo before accepting your bid and I will release the funds after I can verify that you found the solution. Sorry if this sounds rude, but I had 10 people trying this and most of them just replaced the UTF8 spaces with normal spaces and used the example function above claiming "that's it".
