Art Film Project Needs Talented Coder!

I want to commission a coder to create a piece of software that can take video clips and play them one after the other, seamlessly, but in different orders. The idea would be to make a film with lots of possibilities, but you would only know how the film turns out by watching it - ie, everytime it played, it would choose different parts, and so the film would be different. I would also like to do this with the sound track (simultaneously played whilst watching the film). So the music that accompanies it could be chosen also from a pool of possibilities. Furthermore, I would like to explore the 'keywording" of each clip, so that some kind of timeline could be constructed, and weighted in certain ways, so that some clips are more likely to follow other clips, or clips of a certain kind could be more likely or less likely to play... It must be able to play highest quality media files, and be constructed so it can be easily expanded in scope.. This would be part one of the project - part two is very interesting, and once this is complete i will post a very interesting second part to this with a bigger budget! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows, Mac OS X or SuSE Linux are all fine.
