Simple chat room voice router or recorder

I am essentially looking for a program that can record an audio signal via wifi from another computer while sending an audio signal via wifi to the original computer at the same time. Now I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel here, there are programs today that can send and receive audio signals back and forth like you see in a chat room. Some chat rooms similar to “gmail chat?? allow the user to see each other as well. All I’m trying to do is create a proprietary program that can record the information coming in or preferably send the audio signal to another application that is designed for recording on its own.
