So the freelancer consultant will aid me in protecting these last stages of the software distribution, either by adding a few extra lines of code to executable to protect for sales verification or via a protected DLL file. I have selected an established online distribution method, which will need to be incorporated into the website process also, however this should not be extra work, just a consideration that it all works well together. For example, the protected file will rest on my server and the distribution provider will take it from there. So, to sum up, my ex4 file will need protected and also be authenticated when sold to end user to avoid easy replication. The current website is up and running, hosted at my webhost and is in php. All work for this project and any small ad hoc aesthetic adjustments (like font/colour change etc) shall be included in the agreed fixed price. In your bid response, please explain to me how you would "roughly" approach this matter, what experience you have had before with mql4/file distribution security and that you are satisfied with the all inclusive fixed price.
