We need to develop an opened file manager technology similar to that created by VisionWorks: <[login to view URL]> and StBernard: <[login to view URL]>
We need a SDK so our clients can integrate our technology in their products.
We need a standard C API similar to this one (<[login to view URL]>), but we'll appreciate any suggestion or improvement proposition.
Regarding cache management we prefer the system used by StBernard: the original information is written in the cache file previously to write the new information block in the monitored file.
We have experimented developers in C language and Windows API, but not in kernel mode, so you have to document very well all project, especially if it includes any driver or kernel mode code so a standard developer can compile, modify the code or fix any bug in the future.
We work with Visual Studio 2003 and 2005.
