I have a report in access that needs to be written to a PDF when the user clicks a button on a form. The PDF must be saved to a directory without any interaction from the user.
I am using the free print driver from [login to view URL], but am open to other solutions.
Here is the chain of events:
1-User clicks the "Create PDF" button on an access form
2-A specified report is launched
3-PDF is created from form
4-PDF is saved in specified directory
The code must be clearly documented and easily portable to other access applications.
I need to have control over what report is turned into a PDF, what directory is chosen to save the PDF, and what name the PDF is saved under.
I would prefer not to have to purchase any additional software, register any DLL's in Access, or install anything.
