Javascript / HTML / WebSockets Developer

Hello, We are a healthcare technology firm and we are looking for a developer with expert knowledge in websockets (as well as JSON) and use it in creative ways in order to build high performance and secure applications. Client applications do not connect directly with any backend systems such as database, etc. They have to send/receive data using a single interface server via websockets and JSON. Currently, we are in the process of building an application (Supplier) that facilitates supplies on behalf of a supplier. Some of the features include:respond to product information, RFQ, payments, etc. We have an Exchange server which facilitate the transactions between suppliers and buyers. This interface server is still being developed and some of the functionality is already working. We do not have extensive documentation at the moment or we have to work on project goals one week at a time. Some of the frontend design screens are already developed. We need to take it to the next level. If this excites you, please read further. As a startup company, we work hard and we expect that you do the same. However, our budgets are tight. We would like you to be self driven, take minimal direction and complete tasks on time. You are expected to provide daily status reports on the weekly objectives. You should use efficient programming methods and we do appreciate any feedback on the project to make it better. Confidentiality is very important to us and you are expected to sign confidentiality agreement. We will communicate with our developers using Gtalk and Phone. You should have high speed Internet access and you login via Gtalk while working on our project. We are in Eastern time zone ([login to view URL]) and we expect that you work to match our time (at least partial day) so that it would be easy to co-ordinate tasks.
