Massive multiplayer login and character creation

You will be required to develop a user login and verification system, to verify a users identity, then gather particulars of that user from the database and display them in a web browser for their selection and alteration. The display of this information will be both graphic and text, the pages displaying this information must be alterable by the user without total refreshing - as achievable with AJAX technology. This system is required for a massive multiplayer game, to manage player log-in and then character selection or creation and then game server selection. Once the user has made these selections he is presented with the "Launch" button, which must launch a Java WebStart application that communicates a unique ID (passed to it when the user clicked the launch button) to the gameserver to immediately log the user in. The login server has communicated this ID to the relevant game server so it knows to expect the user. To clarify the webstart once more: You MUST be able to generate a unique id for this logged in user and then pass it to the button which launches our java webstart client. So that once the application has loaded it can verify the users identity with another server to check the user has previously logged in on the web page. For more many more details of requirements read the attachment. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
