PHP/MySQL - Ongoing Relationship

I'm a web designer/xHTML-CSS developer and I'm looking for a reliable PHP/MySQL developer to work with on a regular basis, as and when my projects require back-end development work. I have a number at the quote stage right now. I would ideally like to build a relationship whereby we each complement each other's skill-set and can therefore feed each other work. I'm particularly interested in hearing from developers with an interest in Web Standards. I'm based in the North West, so it would be handy if you were too, although I'm equally happy to work remotely. * I'm sorry, but off-shore replies cannot be considered. *
