Hi In order to apply for this project you must be familiar with the following two fields: 1. Natural Language Processing (if you don't know what this is then this job is probably not for you) 2. Machine Learning (if you don't know what this is then this job is probably not for you) You do not need to be an "expert" in the above fields but basic knowledge is required. I will provide the winner with all the in fo he needs, in a step by step fashion. You should also be able to follow "calculations" and "logic" very easily. The core of the program will be written in C with some Java and PHP on the sidelines. You must optimize both the core program and the Machine Learning Part for speed. We will need to meet certain thresholds for speed. If you are fluent in English this is a big plus. I will only hire members with 5 star feedback. Thanks

I have experience in text mining and developed rules to identify entities from unstructured texts. I have used machine learning algorithms to create classification model using WEKA, R, Mahout. For natural language processing, I have used GATE, OpenNLP to find name of person, organization, places, work. I have also experience in other text mining libraries like Mallet, nltk. Also I have worked on large scale data analysis using map-reduce programming for text mining and machine learning. I have implemented algorithms in Hadoop and run the natural language processing algorithms on very large scale datasets using Amazon Elastic Mapreduce.
