I have a client who is using Yahoo to run its Internet store. They're using a pair of scripts on the back end to perform real-time inventory checking and provide shipping information.
I'm the systems troubleshooter they brought in to work on the issue, and among the problems are what appears to be issues with the database calls being issued by our real-time inventory scripts.
I need someone to take a good look at the two scripts in questions, assess the error log, and tell me what needs to be done. I believe one of the problem is likely a syntax error, and the other may be with the php configuration on the DMZ server dispatching requests to the internal database.
I'm looking for a long-term relationship with a good PHP programmer who has experience with SQL/ODBC and upon whom I can rely for both troubleshooting and creation of new scripts.
Excellent English skills are required for this contract.
## Deliverables
I will pass the existing scripts and error logs to you upon acceptance of the contract. What I need is a simple evaluation of the likely cause(s) of the problems, and recommendations for fixing them.
If the scripting issues are directly related to problems with syntax and can be easily fixed, please let me know and let's discuss the solution.
