I need a site which is basically a YouTube clone, but developed with Drupal ([[login to view URL]][1]).
The job is quite simple, from my point of view: you should use Drupal 5.7 and add all the useful modules to create the basic infrastructure of the site, then configure it and eventually customize it or add functionalities that are missing.
If you have to develop something, this HAS TO BE DONE using the module system of Drupal: You can’t modify any of the modules (core ot not) of Drupal, unless there is a known bug in it.
## Deliverables
You are not responsible for any bug found in the Drupal modules you decided to use, unless this was known before you decided to include it in the project and prevent some “YouTube like?? functionality.
Most difficult part of the projects, from my point of view, are:
- the upload and conversion process
- video playback with a custom designed player
We don’t need a full fledged video player: you can use the standard one provided by Adobe Flash 8, without any advanced streaming functionality.
