I own [login to view URL], a coupon, deal, and bargain site. It is currently under a forum format. I would like to change that. There are two sites that I would like you to refer to prior to quoting this: [login to view URL] and dailyedeals.com. These two sites are not forum based, and I like several of the features: dealcatcher: The top bar that listpopular, new and expiring coupons as well as the [login to view URL] left column that list coupons by catagory and popularity and both sections on the right column. I like the clean logo as well. dailydeals: I like the directory about midway down the index page in the middle. I also like that there are banners displayed. I do not want to "copy" these sites, but I wanted to give you an indication as to what I am looking for. I will list below, more information about what I would like to see: I would like to be able to post deals and coupons (with html c/p ability) via a back office with an expiry feature for each post where the post would be deleted automaticly on the scecified date. I would like a "Hot Deals" section in the middle of the page that would allow the latest deals posted in any catagory to be displayed. I would like a logo designed with the site name ([login to view URL]) and a slogan of something like "Crashing through the retail wall" or something like that. I would like the ability to display banners of different sizes in different areas of the site via the back office. I would like to have either a national news or weather display on the main page (I have the weather now) or something else to draw customers back. Something of value that cost nothing. I would like meta/keyword tags as well as the ability of the visitor to be able to bookmark the site for future reference. I would also like a sign-up form for weekly or hot deals newsletters. I would like to have a link page for recrip. link capability as well as a site map for the search engines. I would like to have feedback, contact us, about us, help, sitemap, and privacy links on the bottom of all pages along with backlinking on the non index pages. I would like to have the pages centered with a solid background behind the white page. I would like for you to be creative, but keep in mind that I want a clean, non confusing site. I want a 90 year old new computer user to be able to direct their way through the site and not get confused about what they are seeing or doing (you know what I mean). I would like to be able to transfer the data from my existing forum to the new site if possible. I would like to have the site when complete, installed on my server (I will make available the necessary login info). Prior to payment, I would like to be able to view the site, admin area, etc... on your server and under test conditions for approval and any modification suggestions. If you are interested in completing this task, please let me know your history as well as links to your past work, and a proposal for final cost that is firm keeping in mind there may be modifications to your presentation. Payment will be in accordance to this sites policy ([login to view URL]) or 1/2 upon completion of work and any modifications and 1/2 upon transfer of files to my hosting server and site is in working order.
