Hello,
I'm looking for a kind of application for language students. I'm asking them
to learn the names of things in pictures that I show them.
During the term they'll see pictures of things and hear and see the names of
them. Then I'll want to test to see how many names they remember.
With a hundred or so pictures' names to remember over the span of about a
month or so, I'd like to make a test in a sort of html format.
I'm thinking, if I can set a big picture up (jpeg or bmp) drawing lines from
each object in the picture(I think there's a photo application that does this,
or I can use paint) then I just need "slots" or places next to each picture
where a student can put the number of the word(the index of numbers next to
printed words can be on this page or another) next to the correct picture.
Finally, it would be a great thing to be able to make a program that "reads"
each student's completed page(html or other) and determines how many correct
numbers were placed.
This could also use many small pictures, but a big one is easier.
I'd appreciate, if anyone thinks they may have a solution for this, hearing
from you.
