MS excel tables to data base

I find out that the columns names on showed website are called a,b,c etc. The next thing I find out is that it always creates data type VARCHAR. please let me know if you want do this in this way or some another. I don't think there is such automatic app but I've one that partially convert excel to SQL, though, it requires reviewing and editing. I've the advanced ICDL that I'm trained to work with approximately all MS office tools and I uses SQL a lot in my programming projects.
