We are building a new website that makes use of images as backgrounds.
I need to know how to anchor the background image in the bottom right hand corner, so that when users with different screen sizes are viewing the website, the image is anchored in the bottom right hand corner and it "disappears" into the top left hand corner.
For example - go to [[login to view URL]][1] (yes - I know this is done in Flash, but I need to do it in HTML).
You will see that the background image fills the entire screen. When you reduce the size of the window, the bottom right corner is fixed, and the image "disappears" into the top right hand corner. The background image does not "resize" - it is fixed in the bottom right hand corner. Also - no scrollbars appear (again, I know this is because it's in Flash)
I need to do exactly this, but using normal HTML.
The attachment contains some of the images that I will use. The "[login to view URL]" image shows where the text will be set up on the page.
Requirements are:
- prepare HTML page with background anchored to bottom right
- on the same HTML page, prepare space for text as it appears on the [login to view URL] image (the text will be written on the HTML page, it will not be part of the image)
- make it so no scrollbars appear.
Cheers,
Lee
