eMail compression / optimisation

I require an application writing that sits both client and server sides to do several functions, these are broken down as follows : Client Side 1. Optimise & Compress the sending of? mail / data? to a remote mail server 2. Auto install and configuration of various mail clients 3. Uninstall option Server Side 1. Handle compressed incoming mail and forward it correctly 2. Copy any incoming mail to a specific directory then send an optimised version of it to the remote client i.e without HTML, Attachments etc etc This is a very very basic description of a larger project but essentially this is the engine room of what I am trying to do.
