Create a detailed design/architecture for a XMPP based proxy to HTTP/SOAP web services in C#, utilizing SoapBox Server and Framework products. We can provide any necessary documentation on our products. After the design is accepted the implementation will be followup work. Our goal with this project is to be able to use existing web services through a single XMPP connection. The idea is to improve performance of web services, provide a centralized web service discovery mechanism and improve security for an organization hosting internal and external web services. Along with the hosting of web services, this project will provide developers with a simple web service proxy generator in Visual Studio 2005, just like the one used for HTTP based SOAP web services. This will allow developers to easily bind to web services over XMPP rather than HTTP. A high level architecture is included in the attached zip file.
