Blogify Website

I need a makeover of a website. Currently this medical technology website/blog is very 'slashdot' in design and in need of a functional make-over. I need the following functions added. (1) Comments Section - ability to post, edit, admin comments (2) An email subscription/newsletter system to alert subscribers to the addition of new content on a weekly basis (3) A RSS feed function to keep subscribers updated. (4) An 'Email this' function Currently the site is pure html, updates are performed by editing the html (old school). I tried blogging software, but became frustrated with the difficulty of installation and design setup. If you want to use pre-built blogging software that is fine, but part of the RAC project will be installation and converting the current website into the new blogging software format while maintaining the same 'look and feel'. My current host allows Wordpress and easyRSS. I am open to a custom design using LAMP to accomplish the addition of these functions, thus avoiding blogging software. Whatever works. The site is: [login to view URL] ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
