Here Autosynch is the main concern as anyone can build the E-Commerce platform. Please do not award now as I want to first explore your POS sytem Sql database. I just want to make sure the below points: As I understand, Your Website will not be responsible to add the product, is this correct? So, here lies you will upload the product from you POS and need to Synch in your Website Database. - Can I assume that I can access your POS database from my code? If this is the case then I will not create any Product table in Web application. I will directly connect to your POS Database table and will show the records. In that case there is no requirement of synchronising the tables. By the way for synchronization the table we must have to access to your POS database. - If I assume that we can connect to your POS database but you do not want to connect it directly from the web app. Or you want that web app will contain another product table. In that case we will have to develop a windows service which will be responsible to work in scheduler and will synchronise the tables. But in this scenario you may face the below difficulties: We will fire the scheduler in an interval say in 15 mn. For example, if your web app table has no stock for a product. It will show in stock when it will synch for the next time. May, you have already added a product. Whatever the case, you please came up with your POS system database. I will investigate and will get back to you with a solution.
