Change HWID of laptop to validate software

I have software with a registry file to validate the installation of the software. That registry file has a key generated from my HWID. I need to validate this software on another computer with a different HWID. I need you to change the HWID of my laptop so that I can validate the installation of this program. FYI - I have another project posted for an engineer to make a key generator, however, this project may be a simpler way to go about validating the software.
