Fix JQuery selector autocomplete

I have this city selector with jquery [login to view URL] It's made with [login to view URL] (Link Template [login to view URL]) It works well when I select the city with the mouse, however if I do it with the enter key, the link does not work. I think this can help in the solution: "There is a new way to trigger events: onHideListEvent. It triggers when user closes list so function is envoked, when user types enter and clicks on element." [login to view URL] the .js file that I use has small modifications so that it works correctly with Joomla (the attached)
