Project Description: We are seeking a highly skilled software developer or a team of developers to create an innovative mechanical parking control system. This project involves developing a comprehensive solution that includes multiple sensors, Lift and doors control system , a web-based kiosk interface, backend server logic, and integration with physical hardware components like sensors and shuttles for vehicle storage and retrieval. The goal is to provide a seamless, efficient, and user-friendly parking experience with minimal driver involvement. Please note: This is not a parking App!!! This is a control software for a mechanical parking systems, including control of sensors, Lifts, doors etc. For reference, see similair systems here: [login to view URL] Responsibilities: Design and implement a secure and intuitive control system and web interface for users to initiate parking and vehicle retrieval processes. Develop robust backend logic to manage parking allocations, user interactions, and system status in real time. Integrate various sensors and automation hardware into the system, ensuring accurate vehicle measurement, positioning, and retrieval. Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure software and hardware components communicate effectively. Implement database solutions for user data, parking data, and transaction management. Optimize system performance for speed and efficiency. Ensure the system's scalability for future expansions and updates. Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and Java for system control and automation. Experienced in mobile app development using React Native, Swift (iOS), and Kotlin (Android). Skilled in web development with a focus on responsive design and secure payment processing. Deep understanding of backend development, including API services, database design (SQL and NoSQL), and server-side logic. Familiarity with sensor integration and real-time data processing. Experience with automation systems, robotics, or similar technologies is highly desirable. Knowledge of machine learning and optimization algorithms is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Project Duration: The project is expected to last for a few months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. Location: This is a remote position, but candidates must be willing to participate in regular online meetings during key project phases.
