Sendgrid integration on website

I have a website with Sendgrid integrated into the emailing functionality. It works fine for sending individual emails to people - the recipient only sees their name and all other recipients are BCC'ed in the email. I also need the functionality to send an email with one primary recipient and others which are in the CC field. The recipient needs to see the CC recipients. I am unsure if this is possible so please ensure you know this is possible before applying for this project.
