Greenhouse management System Version 1, Aug 9, 2016 The goal of the system is to manage a small farm with 16 greenhouses growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumber, pepper and others. The system designed to calculate the operating costs and the annual income of the farm. Basic data is the farm name, address, bank account and the beginning of the agricultural year date, which is November 1 of each year. The system cover-up sales, purchases, crop rotations consumption and production, maintenance, utility bills, salaries of workers, and stock management (fertilizer, elements, seeds, pesticides, boxes , and others). Required development 1. System users • The sales user Sales items can be entered using uploaded excel file, Mobile application (Appel), or internet web browser. Inputs from browser or mobile application require review confirmation message before saving data to the system. Sales user has the following access: enter a new sales item, enter new client information, enter customer payment, review and edit sales items that entered in the current day only (cannot edit or modify items from previous days), updated customer information, Search and print a report for customer account including purchase history, payment history, and balance. Item sales report could look like this: Date Customer Product name Quantity Price Total Received amount Total Marketing: sales can post product and prices and receive requests. • Purchases user Can enter expenses such as purchases, maintenance, salaries, and payments. The same way as above. Also, can add vendors or edit vendor’s contact information. Can search for a specific vendor and view or print vendor’s account history and balance. Review or print a report on purchases of certain item/items or expenses during a specified period. • Operation Operation user can create crop rotations with a start and end date, crop type, and greenhouse numbers used for each crop rotation. Add equipment, machines, greenhouse unites, and maintenance. Add employee extra hours/ days and deductions. Review stock inventory and deduct consumed amount of each type from inventory and for what crop rotation they are used. Enter product quantity and type from each crop rotation. Generate the following reports on browser or excel file: • Production report (one type or more) between start and ending date. • Production report (one or more crop rotation) • Equipment/ machines maintenance report (one or more with start and end date). • Employee salary report (one or more employee per month) • System Director Add and edit employees and system users. Have full access to all user functions. Can add or modify any data failed in the database. Generate the following reports on browser or excel file: • Over all financial report including incomes and expenses between start and end date and calculate profit. • Sales report for one or more types between start and ending date. • Sales report for one type showing average daily/weekly/or monthly price between start and ending date (charts and table). • Employee salary report (one or more employees) showing employee information, salary, extra work, dedication, total, and payment. • Employee salary report (monthly cost and monthly payment) between start and end date. • Crop rotation sales and expenses report (charts and tables) • Customers and vender’s reports. • Expenses report per month showing total cost for maintenance, utility, employs, perched items (charts and table) • Comparison report for products sales average (weekly / monthly) price between current and last year (two or more different years) • Inventory report
