Port a Windows app to OSX

I've had experience using the Python's COM lib to launch a Word Document, feed it data from an XML file, and then save the resulting document. I'm confident that I will be able to help you with this project.

i need to see windows app code first, then i can confirm that i can port it to mac .

Hello, my knowledge in COM and Pywin32 is not good. I watched a tutorial today to see what it was about. I have some knowledge in Python. but.. all this is not what matters i believe because I'm very familiar with everything OS X. I have made iWork and Office scrips (Applescript) in the past. My main line of development is with OS X and the Cocoa Frameworks. So that part i do know well. Now, I'm unsure it Cocoa might be overkill for this.. maybe scripting is enough? Step 1 (Starting app) and 3 (XML output) are pretty easy but no: 2 (Monitoring?).. i'm unsure as what you're referring too, please elaborate. If you're talking about reading some values in some tables and such it will present no problems. i think i should have no problem porting your app to either a script or a pure cocoa app. btw. I'm new to freelancer so to have any chance of winning projects i need to bid low. win-win as one might say. please let me know if you have any questions, or would care to elaborate on the actual meaning of the monitoring step. Hi there, I have some experience with python programming, as well as porting application using WINE, WINEBOTTLER, and WINESKIN. If your application is bundled as a .exe I would most likely use one of those programs to get it to work, however, if it is a .py (or if you can provide a .py version) I could use py2app, to get a workable native mac app. I look forward to working with you!

A python expert having expertise in working with XML ,JSON , HTML data in different OS set ups such as Mac, Win,Linux. And also since this would be my first project , I am more eager to feel the experience as freelancer for the first time ( during my 7.5 yrs of exp , I never worked as a freelancer ) than getting paid higher/lower ....:)
