Hello and good evening from the Beautiful Isle of Jamaica. My name is Devrhoid Davis and I am very excited about your project. I have been an avid Python Programmer for over 3 years. I have used multiple Gaming frameworks with Python but I am especially good with the Pygame library. Since you are just looking for a simple game I would use that library as it has very good performance. I will use PyToExe Library to make the game a standalone installation program that you can run on any windows machine and provide use with a tar folder in case you wish to use it on linux. I have two concepts in mind. The first is a racing concept and the other is a role playing game where you walk around and defeat enemies. Please let me know which one you are interested in. If you contact me today, I can send source files for games I have worked on and you can choose one of those if you like. I am willing to give you one of those games if you urgently need it.
