Setup a simple Resque Job Scheduler.. 8 queues (q0... q7) Jobs in q0 run twice as often as jobs in q1 Jobs in q1 run twice as often as jobs in q2, etc Minimum of 16 workers on q0 q0 checked at least 10 times per second on average (using all workers) RSpec tests .. including a job that can re-schedule itself at a priority -1 lower than it's current priority, Use "god" to initiate service This is a nice self-contained fixed-scope Ruby project.
