Penny Auction Timer.

I have an existing penny auction site. I need to update prices in real time on this site. Running Cron job service more than on a minute by minute basis, is too demanding on my shared server. I require custom code to be written for a second by second grain ,[ that will not put extra demand on the shared server.] Prefer someone who has done this already. Proof of ability.
