I would like to hire a Mac OS Developer - 30/01/2017 19:57 EST

We are looking for someone to help make a MacOS application (preferably using Xcode, Swift 3 and Cocoa). We don't really need a graphical interface for it at this time, so it can be an agent or daemon that runs on a machine. Basically all we want to do is track and log when the TextEdit application is open and closed and which files were opened and saved (with time stamps basically time when these files were opened and saved) Then put this data in a location specified by the user (maybe from a pull down menu / preferences or an actual icon and setting in system preferences on the mac). we're not too picky about the way it looks as long as it works and we are expecting the app to be able to log these things without getting data from other logs. (In other words we're looking to monitor the events and not grep data from log files.) For now this data can be in plain text in the location specified by the user. It can be multiple files or one single log which ever is easier to present from the application. We are looking to make a lager application out of this in stages and this would be first stage so there would be more work once this is completed.
