Possible Cause could be that your machine is not able to contact the domain controller if you are using a domain account for the service , is that the case ? I can look this up if you are interested. Thanks

Hi This is just a point of view as I don't see a solution with the installed version SQL Server (EXPRESS) Apparently you have a SQL Server (EXPRESS) installation. This installation of SQL Server Agent is disabled. The edition of SQL Server that installed this service does not support SQL Server Agent. So I see it impossible that you can use the SQL Agent in the EXPRESS version, an alternative would be to use the task manager to generate a batch script and place what you wanted to do with the agent there.

Hello, I've great experience using different programming languages and Windows tools. Since you are using the SQL EXPRESS edition, you could not start the Agent service!
