Hi, Hope you're doing well. My name is Nikhil Sharma and I'm a SugarCRM consultant. I've been working with SugarCRM since the last 8 years and know the framework really well. I started with SugarCRM when it was still in version 4. I have done multiple sugarCRM implementations including development, customization, upgrades as well as bug fixing. Coming to the project, upgrading from 5.X to 6.X is a multi step process. We also have to be very careful about the custom changes that you've done to the system. If there are any non upgrade safe customizations, then I will have to make them upgrade-safe before proceeding with the upgrade. The upgrade-safe changes, if any required, will be charged extra. This is how I'm planning to execute the upgrade: 1) Study the system (CRM) and make sure that we are good to go with the upgrade. In this stage, I will mark all the areas which need special attention. 2) I will clone the system and create a dev environment. 3) I will perform the upgrade on the dev environment and do unit + system testing. 4) Once I establish that the system is performing normally, I will deploy the changes to production server. 5) Unit and System testing will be done once again on the production server before handing the system over to you. I can confidently say that I'm the best candidate to handle this project because I know SugarCRM like the back of my hand. I can execute this task efficiently and quickly.
