Senior UX Designer Needed to Build Premium Digital Experiences for Online Membership/Community

Summary: Simpler Media Group (SMG) is on the hunt for a passionate, talented and experienced UX designer to help take our digital experience touch points to the next level. You will be required to deliver a full audit of SMG’s existing digital pathways (e.g., webinars, content downloads, event registrations, preferences management, etc.) from the standpoint of a community member and provide detailed input on the specific ways we can improve the overall experience, elevate the brand, reduce friction, improve consistency and in general help us create the gold standard of these experiences on the web today. This is a defined project but we are looking to form a long term relationship with the right candidate. Responsibilities: * Consulting with key stakeholders to understand the project scope and goals. * Conducting usability testing. * Creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows. * Developing personas and usage scenarios. * Analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience. * Assisting with content development. * Conducting competitor and customer analysis. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience as an enterprise-level UX Designer or Interaction Designer. * A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or a relevant field (graphic design, usability) or equivalent qualifications or experience in a field of UX. * A portfolio or work demonstrating relevant experience. * Experience with online community building or education space. Required Skills: * Deep understanding of UX design practices and user-centered design (UCD). * Proven ability to turn broad discussions of ideas into actionable development tasks that solve workflow and user interaction problems. * Experience using industry standard UX software for each UX design phase (Think, Make, Check, Figma). * Excellent organizational, time and project management skills. * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Ability to think creatively. * An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment. * Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends. * Professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines. * Enterprise tools familiarity is a bonus: Marketo, Hubspot, ON25, GlobalMeet® Webcast How to Apply: So, you’re confident you have the UX chops to elevate our webinar experiences?
