Video Editor for YouTube Gaming Channel

Hello everyone, my name is Dails, and I am a content creator on Twitch and YouTube. My focus is on video games, especially fighting games, and for the last couple of years, I have been handling my own editing in Davinci Resolve. Now, I would like to take the next step and collaborate with an editor for the medium term. For now, I would like to focus on one highlight video per week. I will do the raw cut and select highlight moments from recorded streams. After that, I will provide you with the Resolve project for the raw cut (10-20 minutes long), so you can edit the provided footage. I am not looking for bright and flashy animations but for a sophisticated touch in terms of transitions, zooms, sound effects, or inserting memes. As I am from Germany, I would like to limit the selection to European-based editors due to time zone concerns. I am native in German and fluent in English, and the provided footage will also be in English. I am open to negotiating the price for each video, and for now, I would see a budget of 40-60 Euros per video. There is also a possibility of revenue sharing in the future if the YouTube channel becomes a partner. Best regards, Dails Responsibilities: • Edit and enhance highlight videos sourced from Twitch streams and provided in Davinci Resolve project format (other formats possible after discussion). • Incorporate engaging and "hype" moments into the videos to captivate my audience. • Add relevant visual effects, transitions, and graphics to enhance the video quality. • Ensure video and audio quality are optimized. • Collaborate with the content creator to understand their vision and requirements. Requirements: • Proven experience in video editing, preferably with a portfolio showcasing gaming-related content or similar projects. • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools). • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within given guidelines and timelines. • Good communication skills in both English and German, allowing for discussions with the content creator. Additional Information: • This is a remote position, so candidates from Europe are welcome to apply. • Initially, I require one video per week, focusing on highlights. • The source material for editing will be a raw cut of the original footage. • Discussions with the editor can be conducted in either English or German. • The budget for this project is 40-60 euros per video. I am open to discussing a fair compensation per video based on the estimated workload. • There is a possibility of revenue sharing in the future, particularly if the channel becomes a partner and generates substantial ad revenue.
